A fun exercise! 10 in 10

Yesterday I took an assignment proposed on a photography forum to take 10 pictures in 10 minutes. Doesn't seem hard but it is definitely a challenge to get 10 different images in a short amount of time. It forced me to look at my surroundings a bit differently, just looking for a more creative shot. I actually went out back, behind the farm, where there is a TON of junk! It's actually in the process of getting hauled away so it was a great opportunity to find some hidden treasures before it is all gone. Junk is, after all, a photographer's dream! I don't think any of my images would win any competitions; I'm under no illusions about that! But it was a great exercise and a couple of the images I really like! Hope you enjoy seeing our farm...Happy Friday!!

I took the next two just seconds apart...but took a step to the right to get rid of the sunflare. I LOVE sunflare and actually like the first image...but really like the second image as well...

An abandoned swing set...

And one in color...last shot of the 10 minutes!

(p.s. I know there are 11 images but I wanted to show the difference in the two barbed wire shots...:))

Thanks for sharing these! They're great! Reminds me of all the "junk" we kids would go play with and explore. Especially the giant spool...we loved rolling those things around, trying to roll inside them :)

Love the one with the wagon/trailer (?) with the wheels and the wood... beautiful!

These photos (as well as all your Kansas / farm photos) remind me so much of my grandfather, makes me miss him. He would have been right at home in Kansas, he lived from the land, and made things from his bare hands, and so much of your photos remind me of that 'earth goodness' that he lived for.

Love ya!
