Sneak Peek!

This little guy is going to be a big brother soon! I think I've talked his momma into letting me do some pics of her cute little tummy before the big day. But this day was all about Mr. R...he would do anything, one time, and only if we gave him a lick of his sucker. LOL! But we got some good shots so hopefully Momma will love these...how could she not with those eyes!

Carter's 4-year old pics

Well, I finally got Carter in the studio last week. The boy loves to pose. I want to do some more with him and get some good ones outside and then i'll be making him a coffee table book. Then I'll have to do it all over again for the girls when their birthdays come around! :)

We are home!

Well, our weekend away was...interesting! We did a lot of driving around trying to find different things (read: my husband won't stop to ask for directions because he KNOWS where he is going). We got to visit with the EMT's and become an exhibit all our own at the zoo (read: found out our daughter has my penchant for altitude sickness and her dad's for passing out). We also did fun, touristy types of things and got to smell that Rocky Mountain air. It was a nice weekend away, in spite of the "excitement" at the zoo. Here's just a few pics...mostly from the top of Pike's Peak. I have a busy week but won't have much in the way of sneak peeks for the blog. Head shots probably won't be all that exciting for here...plus, I'm not about to ask everyone for a release! :) So...I may be scarce this week!

I've had several inquiries lately for family pictures for Christmas. I'll be posting a few specials before long so keep your eye out for that. I'll also be launching my website shortly...exciting stuff around here!

Sneak Peek!

Even though the wind kept us from getting outside on Saturday morning for family pics, the G family is still going to have some gorgeous family photos for Christmas this year! We set up the studio and fired away. Everyone was so cooperative and we had fun getting some great family photos. Even shot a few of just mom and dad as they are about to celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary!

Enjoy your sneak peek and thanks!!

I love this picture...getting it BIG for my room!

My sweet babies cooperated with me (kind of) on Saturday morning after a shoot I had and let me get some pics like this. I've had this vision since we got our new bed and the white comforter.

We had a wonderful weekend...finished moving all the stuff out of the old house, filled the pantry with groceries, taught Emma to ride with no training wheels (there was no teaching to it, she got on and her dad let go and she did it...stopping is a different story but she's getting it!), and now just looking forward to another busy week. I should be all caught up after tomorrow on my sessions...I've felt a bit snowed under! I hope to get the house in shape this week and just be able to breathe here finally.

Hope you all had a great weekend. Look for a couple of sneak peeks this week!!!

Sneak Peek!

This is the R family and we had the coolest location for our shoot. Her family owns the drive-in theater so we met there for a fun family session. Everyone was really relaxed and up for anything. They even climbed up on the marquee!

Thanks guys!! Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!!!

My Sweet Boy is FOUR!

I can't believe how fast the time flies. Carter-man is growing up so quickly. He's such a funny kid and we just love him to bits. He got a bike with training wheels for his birthday and he's been riding it around the driveway all day. He also got these cool cowboy boots that are just like his cousin's...and he won't take them off. Makes for a nice style! LOL! He was outside playing this morning so I snapped a few. He was farming on the front porch! I'm going to try to get his actual 4-year-old pics this week sometime. He needs a hair cut first!

Happy Birthday Carter!!

Sneak Peek...FINALLY!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!! Growing up, this was my mom's favorite holiday. She always said it was because it was a laid-back holiday...no fancy meals, no presents to buy, no getting dressed up. It was a day to swim, cook out and shoot off fireworks. And we always had the most fun...Mom ran they pool so we swam all day long and then usually came home and cooked out burgers. Dad still grills the best! Afterwards, we'd wait for it to get dark and then head to our small town's fireworks display down at the baseball field. It was cool...but not nearly as much fun as running back home so we could shoot off our own fireworks. Mom would buy TONS from the cheerleaders' fireworks stand and we'd shoot them off for an hour. One year, a roman candle fell over just after it was lit and it shot out everywhere....for some reason, we all ran to the garage! A couple went off in there and it was LOUD! One singed my sister's eyebrow. I think that was the last firecracker of the night.

Tonight, we aren't sure what we are going to do...but right now, the kids are out buying firecrackers with their dad. Snap and pops and the glow worms are favorites right now. I hope you all have a wonderful Fourth...and thanks to ALL our men and women in uniform who keep this day a holiday for all of us. God Bless America!

And now, back to our regularly scheduled pictures...

EVERYONE remember to vote in my cover model contest! It's a tight race still!!! It's been fun to watch people pouring in to vote for their favorites. Tune in Monday to see who wins!

Sneak Peek!

Miss K is turning two!!! She really wasn't into getting her picture taken for the most part but we managed to get several shots. I think she was just letting us know she's definitely gonna be two! I gave a couple of them a vintage look because I thought it looked awesome with her dress. Oh, and we discovered she'd do just about anything for a couple of goldfish crackers! Thanks for coming to see me K and J...you're gallery will be up shortly!
